The Church of the Blessed Sacrament

At the opposite end of the historic centre stands the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, also known as Small Church. At the beginning of the 13th century, the medieval church was assigned to the Abbey of Saint Antimo by Pope Honorius III. Built in a rectangular plan and divided into two naves with cross vaults, it is supported by pillars decorated with black and white horizontal bands. It also has a bell tower from the second half of the 19th century. Inside, there is a painted wooden statue of the Madonna of Loreto from the mid-17th century, and a canvas by Francesco Nasini depicting the Verification of the True Cross placed on the altar of Santa Croce and San Desiderio.
