The municipal historical library is located on the ground floor of Palazzo Ginanneschi. It houses a collection of photographs, newspapers (some published by companies that have gone out of business and some that are still in business), volumes and brochures, and books from the 16th to the 19th century. The library also holds the Anita Fornaciari collection, a collection of books with themes including the history of religions, monasticism, psychology, theatre, literature and cinema which documents the constant research and continuous study of Anita Fornaciari, a teacher, theatre actress, and author of studies, essays and scenic works.
