Via dei Mulini - Mill Street

Your browser does not support the audio element.

Not far from the fish far, this area of the town was favoured by production activities that required the use of running water or hydraulic energy. Nowadays along Via dei Mulini, it is still possible to observe the remnants of a productive district which dates back to the 14th century and functioned until the early 20th century, including the remains of mills, a tanner’s, an ironworks and, possibly, a fulling machine.
