The Church of San Giovanni

The parish church of San Giovanni Battista was consecrated and officiated on April 27, 1969 and takes its name and title from the first parish built in Semproniano. It has a long rectangular plan in the shape of a basilica, enriched by a lantern tower and dominated by the belfry, which is accessed by two steps. The floor is made of marble slabs and the naves are marked by columns and pillars in reinforced concrete. The church has twenty-four cross-shaped windows: twelve large ones in the lantern tower and twelve small ones in the perimeter walls.
