Semproniano

Situated deep in the Albegna and Fiora Hills, Semproniano is the southernmost municipality of Monte Amiata, from where you can admire Mount Amiata and the Argentario promontory. The village has a wealth of historical, artistic and architectural features, including its perimeter walls which, over the centuries, have been preserved as a result of being incorporated into the walls of adjoining houses. The area is also rich in precious natural and geological resources, as can be evidenced at the Mineralogical Museum and the ‘Soste Della Memoria’, permanent exhibitions of material peasant culture dedicated to wine, oil and wood.
