Villa Sforzesca

Villa Sforzesca was built in 1576 as a noble residence with an adjoining farm, at the behest Cardinal Alessandro Sforza. Based on a project by the architects Domenico and Giovanni Fontana, the villa has a rectangular plan enclosing an internal courtyard where some ruins are visible, and the façade is divided by large windows.

The church of San Gregorio Magno is situated near the villa, with its elegant gabled façade divided by stone pilasters and a rectangular architraved portal.
