Archaeological finds from Stribugliano, Castel Vaiolo

Stribugliano is an archaeological site that highlights the rural nature of the Aldobrandesco territory between Amiata and Maremma in the Middle Ages from the 10th to the 14th century. Archaeological relics from the excavations include fragments of jars, various grains and toasted and dried chestnuts – the most significant find of ancient chestnuts unearthed in Tuscany.
