On the altar on the left of the main altar, there is an 18th century work by Giuseppe Nicola Nasini (1657 - 1736) which symbolizes the Pardon of Assisi.
39 Pope Celestine V lays down the insignia
This 1736 work by Giovan Battista Camarri, a parish priest in Arcidosso, portrays Pope Celestine V in the centre kneeling before the Virgin and Child. Saint John the Baptist is depicted on the left, while there is another figure (perhaps a self-portrait of the painter) on the right. The biblical scene of the sacrifice of Isaac is depicted at the base of the throne where the Virgin is seated.
